Prenatal Care

We assess and monitor the progress of the pregnancy, answer any questions, provide education & support and prepare mothers for the delivery.

Assisting with child birth

when the pregnancy is term and the mother falls in labour, assessment is done for true labour. The mother will be monitored throughout labour until child birth.

postnatal care

After child birth we continue to closely monitor the mother and baby and we provide care for the first 6 weeks after child birth.

Yes, provided that you can be seen at least 2 more times before the pregnancy is term.

Yes, If your pregnancy is low risk, you may choose to have your baby either at home or in the hospital.

Yes, we do natural and water birth deliveries.

Yes, we do home deliveries.

No , we do not provide for VBAC since it is regarded as high risk.

Pregnancy is unpredictable, in the event that it becomes high risk, you will be transferred  to the nearest referral hospital.

Yes, they are regulated and our midwives are registered with the South African Nursing Council.

We can take care of you provided that:

You are a low risk patient.

  • You did not deliver by caesarean section previously.
  • You are not diabetic.
  • You do not have high blood pressure in pregnancy.

You are able to provide a track record of having seen an obstetrician or midwife.

You have 2 consultations with us before you deliver.

You do not show symptoms of the COVID-19 Virus.

You do not bring children or visitors to your consultations.

You pay the full fee before you deliver.
